Have you ever been to a large ball game and see people selling team visor hats with either your name embroidered on them, or the name of any player embroidered on the hat? Chances are that those people performing the embroidery had started with just an idea of trying out the lucrative business of embroidery on the spot of hats, t-shirts, sport jackets and many other items that they can embroider upon.
Selling those kinds of items at school reunions, flea markets, dog and cat shows, horse shows, or any kind of meeting where a great number of people congregate is quick and easy. After all, hearing and seeing their name being quickly embroidered on their selection of choice enamors everyone. People are filled with pride that their dog or cat was entered in such and such a show that they want to keep the experience forever embroidered on any number of wearable items. Some intense success can be found selling such items at graduation ceremonies as well, as most seek a dated keepsake of having had the experience of graduation, not to mention Moms, Dads and grandmothers and grandfathers too! |

Funny T-shirts have always sold, but most people do not necessarily seek T-shirts that have been embroidered, as they usually buy those that are hot iron pressed on, but there is enough money to be made from small sales of those to mention it. More expensive shirts sell well too when monogrammed. Towel sets that are embroidered with the initials of the owners are quite a hit, but it’s always the children’s items that sell the best. Baby bibs, embroidered children’s socks, and embroidered baby hats sell very well.
Do not ever forget too that sports people love to advertise their favorite team, from baseball hats, to very expensive satin sports jackets, so be sure and carry many different sizes as sometimes both husband wife want to have matching ones, thus you’ll make two sales instead of one if you mention it. Tote bags, robes, polo shirts, golf apparel, exercise clothing, boxer shorts, blazers and all kinds of other apparel does very well when embroidered for personalization. Remember too that it’s not only towels that should have “his” and “hers” embroidered on them, this applies to robes, as well as people love to buy for both at one time. Never let an opportunity for using your embroidery machine pass by if at all possible, as you’ll be surprised how quickly word of mouth leads you to your next public appearance to sell personalized embroidered items.
